FIKA: A Swedish noun or verb that means “coffee break,” which is usually accompanied by something sweet. A treasured tradition, fika offers an opportunity to socialize.

Katie Zurich is an educator and writer who is using fika to transform and propel personal and professional passions. Katie emphasizes the power of conversation and the compelling comfort of coffee and pastries while in pursuit of peace. This fika focuses on common complaints and the magic of mindsets shifted via intentional interruption.

This is one of many FREE daily events offered to the public May 4-11, 2019 as a part of Madison INTOyellow – a town-wide celebration of Optimism & Resilience in Honor of National Mental Health Month (May).
